BLS - Open to All

American Heart Association Basic Life Support Training

Basic Life Support (BLS) is a fundamental skill for all healthcare providers, equipping you with the critical techniques needed to save lives during emergency situations. From performing high-quality chest compressions to establishing an effective airway, BLS training ensures you're prepared to act quickly and confidently in situations like cardiac arrest, choking, or respiratory distress. This course not only boosts your competency and readiness in emergency care but also enhances your ability to work as part of a team in high-pressure environments. Regular certification ensures that you're up to date with the latest protocols and best practices, helping you deliver the highest standard of care when every second counts. Signing up for BLS is an investment in your ability to save lives and improve patient outcomes.

ACLS Recertification for Physicians

Maintaining up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications is not just a regulatory requirement—it’s a vital aspect of patient care. Medical emergencies can arise at any moment, and the ability to quickly assess and respond with the correct interventions can significantly impact patient outcomes. Continuing BLS and ACLS training ensures that doctors are well-versed in the latest life-saving techniques, advanced resuscitation protocols, and collaborative team-based approaches. As guidelines and practices evolve, regular training refreshes critical skills, enhancing confidence in high-pressure situations. By keeping these certifications current, doctors demonstrate their commitment to excellence in care and are better prepared to save lives, whether in routine practice or in acute emergency settings.

MULTIPLE TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE

Billing Seminar

The American Medical Association (AMA) has finalized significant changes to the CPT coding structure for maternity care services, effective January 1, 2027. These changes represent a meaningful shift away from the bundled obstetric payment model toward a more longitudinal, encounter-based coding structure. Unified is actively preparing for these changes and is developing customized resources, education, and operational guidance to support our OB/GYN practices through the transition.

This seminar will be an approximately four hour comprehensive course regarding these new billing structures. It will include case studies, billing examples and ample time for questions and answers. The goal is to help prepare care centers for the changes to come.
